Team Manager Training

Being an informed Team Manager is the best tool you can give to your team to help them succeed in their DI journey! Save the date for a Team Manager Training offered in your area this fall! This Fall Wisconsin DI's Affiliate Training Director Crissy Buhr will be offering two different Team Manager workshops (full training agendas to be posted in late October):

Being a Team Manager 101: An intensive introduction (or review) to being a Destination ImagiNation Team Manager (with NEW Challenges and Hands on Activities!)

Saturday, November 12th, 2011: North East Team Manager Training- Ashwaubenon High School, 8:30am-4:30pm (with a break for lunch on your own) - Registration deadline 11/7/11

Saturday, November 19th, 2011: South East Team Manager Training, Kennedy Middle School- Germantown, WI, 8:30am-4:30pm (with a break for lunch on your own) - Registration deadline 11/14/11

Saturday, December 3rd, 2011: Northwestern Team Manager Training, Spooner High School, 9:00am-4:30pm (with a break for lunch on your own) - Registration deadline 11/28/11

This full day workshop will help Team Managers prepare to star their DI journey! Whether you are a newbie or a seasoned TM this training is sure to help get you in gear and teach you something new! In traditional DI- style, expect a fun filled day full of hands-on learning and leave with practical, useful activities you can use directly with your team, ranging from facilitator tips and tricks, Warm-ups, Team Builders, and Instant Challenges! Even if you've attended this training before, there is something new to gain, with brand new ICs, Team Builders and Activities!

Team Manager as a Facilitator: Overview of your role as a Team Manager, and what it means to be a facilitator for your team

Interference: Understand what this means, and what you CAN do as a Team Manager to help your team

Using Your Resources: Learn what's available for you as a Team Manager, and where to find what you need.

Understanding DI Scoring: Breakdown where the points come from, learn what appraisers look for at tournaments, discover how to read those pesky scoresheets!
