APPRAISER/VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

Volunteers/Officials must fill out the information on the Registration Form. This form is specifically for the Regional Tournaments. There is a check off box available if you also wish to officiate at the State Tournament.

If you do not know the role you wish to perform please review the descriptions that can be found under the Volunteer Tab.

Once the Regional Tournament has been completed, and you want to officiate at the State Tournament on April 14th, in Stevens Point, then please contact the State Tournament Director, or the State Challenge Master for the challenge you wish to work on, or the Wisconsin Affiliate Director. We'll make sure you are signed up.

Appraisers

  1. must be at least 18 years or older
  2. high school students may appraise in non-scoring roles
  3. must attend an official/appraiser training to be certified to appraise or officiate

What to do next?

  1. All volunteers MUST accept the Code of Conduct and Insurance Waiver that is at the end of the registration process. You may review it here.
  2. If you are registering as a team's mandatory appraiser/official, make sure you have the team number (an eight digit number in the format 148-xxxxx), and tournament date. (If your name and email address was submitted when the team was registered, this was sent to you in an email with the subject: "WI DI Appraiser Registration Instructions". Otherwise, please contact your team manager to obtain the team number.)
  3. If you are registering as an independent appraiser/official, check the calendar page to determine the date and place of the tournament(s) that you would like to officiate at.
  4. Review the brief description of this year's challenges and decide which one you would like to work on.
